Espits Frappeurs-Premiere Apparition

“Esprit Frappeur” is french for Poltergeist. The word poltergeist comes from the German words poltern (“to make noise”) and Geist (“ghost”), and the term itself literally means “noisy ghost”. Live vocals are blurred, filtered and stretched to activate electronic sounds processes as a mean to communicate with spirits. Alexandre and Philippe have been friends for 15 years, this is their first recording together, chanelling their love for electroacoustic music, sound poetry, psychedelic noise and cosmic rituals.
a collaboration exploring digital voice processing and occult psychedelia between vocalist Philippe Lambert and musician Alexandre St-Onge.
